Directions to Key Venues

Rehearsals:

Masconomet High School, Topsfield From Ipswich, take Route 1 South to Topsfield. As you come into the town, take a right hand turn just before the white Congregational Church on your right. Travel about a mile on this road (Main Street) until you see Washington Street; take a wide left turn. Take Washington Street until you come to Masconomet High School on your left – about 1 mile. If you cross over Route 95, you have just passed the school.

From 95 North or South: Take Exit 51 – Endicott Road. As you get off the exit, you will see the school on the east side of the highway. Take the first entrance to the school, into the main parking lot and proceed to the back of the school. Enter through the furthest set of doors.

Retreat:

Castle Hill & Crane’s Beach, Ipswich If you are coming from Topsfield, Boxford etc., take Rte 97 North to first fork past the center of the town of Topsfield. Turn right onto Old Ipswich Road. You will come to a traffic light at the Route 1 junction. Go though and travel several miles into Ipswich center. You will pass the Sacred Heart Church on the right, a Mobil Station and the railroad station on the right. Go straight through the town on Market Street to a stop sign. This is the intersection of Route 133 and 1A. Take a right and **follow 133/1A through the town to the intersection of Argilla Road which turns left. Follow Argilla Road for about four miles. You will see the signs to Crane’s Beach and Castle Hill. Castle Hill will be on your left. Watch for the sign for “Castle Hill” and the gatehouse. After you pass the gatehouse, make an immediate left. Coming from the North, or from Rowley, take Rt. 133 East - which becomes 1A into Ipswich and follow from ** above. From Beverly and points south, take Route 1A north and come into Ipswich, watching for Argilla Road on the right.

Concert Venues

Ipswich High School

From Beverly and points south or from Route 128 N, take 1A north. It will join with 133. Go through center of Ipswich – about one mile out of town, going toward Rowley, watch for the school, a large brick building complex, on your left. OR coming from Topsfield, take Route 1 North to 133 and take Route 133 East through Rowley to Route 1A. Turn right on 1A toward Ipswich – the school is about one mile past the Clam Box Restaurant. Use the parking lot you see nearest the street, and enter the school through the entrance at the top of the stairs. Facing the school, this entrance will be on your far right.

A.J. Gordon Memorial Chapel, Gordon College 255 Grapevine Road, Wenham, MA

From Points West:

• Take an east-bound highway (e.g., Mass Turnpike, Route 90) to Route 95 North
• Stay on Route 95 North until it separates from Route 128
• Take Route 128 North towards Gloucester, passing through Peabody, Danvers and Beverly
• Take Exit 17, Grapevine Road
• Turn left at end of ramp, going 0.6 mile to main entrance

From Points North:

• Take Route 95 South to Route 128 North
• Remain on Route 128 North, passing through Peabody, Danvers and Beverly
• Take Exit 17, Grapevine Road
• Turn left at end of ramp, going 0.6 mile to main entrance

From Points South:

• Stay on Route 95 North until it separates from Route 128.
• Take Route 128 North towards Gloucester, passing through Peabody, Danvers and Beverly
• Take Exit 17, Grapevine Road
• Turn left at end of ramp, going 0.6 mile to main entrance

Trinity Episcopal Church, 124 River Road, Topsfield, MA

From points east: Take 97 North to the stop sign in the center of Topsfield. Go straight through intersection onto High Street extension, to next stop sign and continue straight onto Washington Street until it forks widely to the left. Take this left and continue for about 0.5 mile and turn left onto River Road. Two short blocks down, take a sharp left and then an immediate right turn into the church parking lot. Enter through the main doors.
